Staring at the screen
Captivated by the scene
Observing words as they pass
The Epistles of Venus and Mars

Late night conversations
Losing track of time
Witty observations
Committing cyber crime

Guilty of conversing far into the night
Until the sky becomes morning light
Stories shared, hearts revealed
Minds opened, secrets sealed

Good night, I can’t stay awake anymore
Or is it good morning, it’s half past four
The whole world is about to get out of bed
Shalom! Goodbye! But still so much unsaid…

I can really relate to this poem. It holds truth and various observations. To find yourself so absorbed in chatting with someone or reading something that hours can pass like seconds. I like how you put crime into this poem and show the negative impact of such an addiction to chatting online. Great write! =]

This had a nice steady beat and it was a good piece on how we get drawn in online. It's funny I have a lot of friends from another poetry site and we've talked for going on 7 years now and I've even ended up meeting some of them too!
What did we do in loneliness, boredom and whatever before the internet?!

I like this! I'm sure a lot of people can relate to this too. For example, I have such a hard time sleeping so I go on this site until I finally feel tired enough to sleep. I really like the flow of the words and how everything rhymes. Great poem and very well written :)
