LIFE BECKONS

Life beckons, some respond, some get lost,

In a murky swampland of their own;

Always fearing to accept what's there,

Always searching for a better zone.

When strolling through the fields of their lives,

They throw away the wheat with the chaff;

Never allowing the good to thrive,

Never knowing tears can turn to laughs.

When life beckons, respond with a smile!

Happy is better than being blue.

Be willing to give, so others will know,

You care about them more than just you.
