FLOWERS IN THE GARDENA Poem by mandyabout the death of a dear friendWhen the flowers in the garden, Bloom out in every hue, And spread their beauty on the earth, That's when I think of you. For you were like the flowers, dear, So lovely and so grand. You poured your love upon us all, We knew you'd understand. Now the petals all have fallen, Their colors fade away, But they live on within our hearts, Like thoughts of you each day. I must continue in this life, Without you next to me, But the flowers in the garden, Bring back sweet memories. © 2014 mandyFeatured Review
