Thoughts

muddled thoughts when love hurts.

Heart aching, eyes flowing, hurt so badly, not knowing.

Thoughts like furry rabbits scurrying around

in the warren of my brain, causing pain.

Thoughts overlapping, what is happening?

 

Time is drifting, I am shifting, and sifting

through all the things we left unsaid.....

We haven't talked, you haven't said.....

Are we still good, or is our love dead?

 

Scorched heart hiding, needs debriding.

Thoughts are driving me insane!

Like furry rabbits scurrying, hurrying

in the warren of my brain, causing pain.

I could feel the pain radiating from this poem... it screamed frustration and asking the question WHY? and keep saying NO! it's tells me of something your unwilling to let go because you love it so much but it still hurts to keep it beside you...
