LostA Poem by Amanda HopeThe camera flashes A snapshot in time Two lovebirds smiling up at eachother The joy on thier faces as bright as the sun Joined together They made their vows as one
Through better or worse Till death do us part Love in the purest form Mending broken hearts
Secrets shared Minds Intertwined Childhood dreams soon to be realized
What once was said was to be held true Words spoken between lovers and friends Promises to eachother Faith in one another Expressions now turned taboo
A stillframe still hangs on the wall What was or could've been they will never know Caught in the obscurity of life What seemed so long ago Love taken in strife Promises will surely fall
Clouded judgment Impatient hearts Who once thought they would never part
Silent for too many years Longing for a voice Built up emotion Demanding affection Fighting through the tears
Justice for some comes too late The damage was done A twisted fate
