Cracks

Cracks

A Poem by Mandie

Plans, People, and Seasons.
It all changes.
But the songs all stay the same.
My mind in mountain ranges.

It's all about choices.
And about how it ends.
Long, painful waits.
And old time friends.

It's feeling for everyone
with no one feeling back.
It's bearing your soul,
Sharing every crack.

I like the image of the songs staying the same while the other stuff changes, like a film with the same music score while the scenes and characters change. The mind in mountain ranges also gives the idea of perspective, looking at the whole landscape.
You lost me on the last stanza - why is no one feeling back? Especially since you just talked about old time friends.
Bearing the soul and baring the soul are different. Did you really mean to spell it that way?
