Rogerian

A Poem by Mandie

There was an all knowing tone,
A sharpening glint in his eyes.
And i was in from the time it all started.

There was a sudden call for running,
And a sudden urge to bite.
And i was out from the time it all started.

There was a tingling of things already felt
And a stinging of things never said.
And i was gone from the time it all started.

And sitting here tonight
You know who's on my mind.
In my dreams.

I hear this high, stupid laughter,
And my eyes have been too red for too long
Not to feel what happened to you.
