Features of PersonalityA Poem by Amanda PatrickI wrote this poem originally for an assignment in my creative writing class, but it is all true and from the heart to my toddler, Miss Lillian Rene'.
Bright blue eyes;
Black lashes Your smiles and grins given in flashes Strawberry blonde hair, all messed by the wind These features glow against pale skin Oh to watch you point that finger, showing me you have my temper Hereditary, yes, it is true Tempers are best when coming from you I love the morning kiss I get from you Hugging my neck, squeezing it too You find your binky, hold it for a few watching t.v. like it's the thing to do I have watched you grow from baby to tot You express such attitude; it tightens this knot, a bond we have I feel it too, I found my purpose the day I had you
