Smoky WhispersA Poem by MandaSmoke whirling around Cold settling in, seeping I begin to feel my heart pound, Only makes me feel like weeping. The silence is unbearable, Louder than the thoughts inside me Another puff here, another there So happy no one can see me. My thoughts of you are painful, But I can't stop thinking of you Your beautiful face, skin and eyes Thoughts of your love get me through The yells, the screams, the insults None of them measure to your kiss Whispers of pleasurable things, I wonder if I'm the one you miss I finish the smoke and feel empty inside, All over again heartbroken and dark I will pick up the pieces once more, And hope you put back together my heart.
