the buried and the dead

the buried and the dead

A Poem by manchilld99
"

...oh yeah, and then there was the naacp... didn't they have a ceremony of sorts .... something to do with burying the word 'n****r?'

"

the last mound of dirt is heaved

‘ashes to ashes, dust to dust’

upon the ‘n****r’

next to the ‘negro’

in the african american graveyard

‘for colored only’

it is tossed by a spade

all are just as dead
