EPILOGUE

EPILOGUE

A Poem by manchilld99
"

the afterglow of a kiss

"

Epilogue

enchanted

all resolve dissolved

in the steam of your breath

senses reeling, mind addled

I succumb overcome

by wild-eyed desire

to fervent wishing to turn back time

tock-tick , back … careful steps,

reverse the tide

to one sweet moment

before our lips had parted

reveling in our first kiss

Oh I love the tone and feel of this piece...and what an afterglow it is...a kiss etched forever in our memory..I can relate...i like how you did the ending too...reverse the tide......a well done piece....

That first kiss...........when it is so perfect it stains the memory......and you want to capture it all over again........truly lush, beautifully written, and a great experience kissing your soul mate!
