Dark KissesA Poem by monster of self-consciousness
A winter's touch, a frosty kiss..
A heart made of ice.. A small knife behind her back.. And words full of lies.. She waits for me.. A little close, closer than ever.. A breath that smells of roses.. Trying so hard, but can't resist.. A drop of blood in the snows.. She calls for me.. I feel no pain, numb, so numb.. A warmth flows down my chest.. Pointed death, jagged and vicious.. On the hilt, her fingers rest.. She looks at me.. A caress on my cheek, so soft.. Her fingers trace my jaw.. Whilst she digs deep, twists.. The knife in her other pretty little claw.. She hungers for me.. A little whisper, I can't hear her.. For betrayal rings in my ears.. Her lips so cold, like a corpse.. But I don't shed a tear.. She is lost to me.. She pushes me away, I fall.. She turns and walks away.. I watch as my slayer leaves.. Wishing she would stay.. But she is done with me.. In search of another prey, beware or bear.. A fate for the careless lovers.. Luck is for fools, try to run away.. But keep close, all your lucky clovers.. Because, she comes for you.. © 2017 monster of self-consciousness |
