The cabin

Always So peaceful. Always so quiet. That’s what I love about her . After so many hard days she was finally getting some sleep.

 Our love story was so fresh in my mind it was as if all of it had happened in a day. I had joined Infosys and the first day I went in to work I saw her. So beautiful, so absolutely stunning. Long brown hair, fairy white and tall, It had taken all the courage in the world to go and talk to Ms. Aditi Rathore. But once I did I never regretted it. It was so easy to talk to her. It didn’t take long for me to be madly in love with her. In  the course of the next few months I tried a lot to make her realise what I felt about her  but she never gave me any inkling.

 The day I had decided to move on to bigger and better things in life and had decided to change my company she cornered me in the parking lot and looked me in the eye. I froze. She came near me slowly and kissed me . The moment she did I knew I had to be with her my whole life.  So the next day I went to her and asked her to marry me. I knew it was out of the blue we weren’t even in a relationship yet.  but Aditi had said yes. And just like that my life had changed.

A few days after that I went to Aditi’s house to meet her father and tell him how much I loved his daughter . She had warned me her parents were very orthodox but I thought I could make them see reason.

The door burst open as it jolted me out of my thoughts. No, this cannot be happening. I thought we were well hidden. There was no way they could have found us. Before I finished these thoughts I was being pushed to the floor and my hands were being tied up. I turned around my head with difficulty under the struggle  to look at my wife. What I saw enraged me. Her hands were bound behind her back and she was all tied up. How can a father send his own men to do that to his own daughter?

“Everything’s going to be okay. Listen to me. we will get out of this” I shouted at Aditi

Suddenly I received a sharp blow to my head and darkness took over my world.
