Fallen

Fallen

A Poem by Lieles
"

Sometimes you can't tell the liars and backstabbers.

"
There you stood,
Watching as I fell.
But you raised no brow,
you lend no hand.
I'm in pain,
can't you tell?

The vision of you
get smaller,
as I continue
to descend.
But your voice
still in my head.
The one I thought
was a friend.

Oh! A similar betrayal as I describe in, 'Drowning'. Yes. Good read :) I.I.

So heart touching. I like the way you have narrated it.
