A little bit about the story...

Sarah slapped the book in front of his face, her mouth twisted with distaste. "What do you mean no returns?" She demanded with a scary tone. "Um, it wasn't my decision to make." She growled at him before throwing the sickly pale gum pack at him. "Fine, take the stupid gum and tell the manager that I'm going to get him!"

I sound scary? Please, at least it's not you that's being yelled at. Well back to the "prologue"

After trudging through the forest for five hours Ray still couldn't find his favorite sling shot anywhere! He frowned thinking about what could have happened to it.
