remember 9/11! where was the mothman?A Poem by mamewhit
remember, how could you forget?
etched in the being of our time. prophesied through the years to come alive. the energy felt long before the act. where was the mothman? out across the bridges walking faster. turning over shoulders looking back. watching the towers fall and feeling the impact. looking up with disbelief, a black debris cloud rolled. bringing a time break, a before and an after. remember, how much trauma marked in the dna? the numbers have recursive meanings, 9/11, 19 hijackers, 3 towers, 4 planes, 3000 plus lives changed. and the pictures never go away. to burn or take the power in a leap of faith intervening. false flags flying and the holy war changing the laws, doesn’t really matter heros grab the glory, showing love in true human spirit. raising a new universal flag from the tatters. catch a glimpse of the evil without merit. where was the mothman? a divided house full of patriots will always fall. stand united and we feel the revelation. listen to the nature of the beast. a cryptid, a moth, an owl, an eagle, bringing the message on their wings. where was the mothman? remember, the truth is on the soul, raise it up from down in the hole. the silence in the air gone and the numbers added up. the aftermath calculated and hope celebrated. never forget, just look up a new building stands. © 2012 mamewhit |
