Contemplation of the Heart

Can she listen to the sunset,
and hear only the song in your heart?
Does she bring peace to your soul,
even when you are apart?

When you weep in the dark of the night,
is it for her you pine?
Does she lift your spirits and make you smile
even without trying?

Does your heart skip a beat
each time she speaks your name?
Then this is the one with whom
you must lay your claim.

Life is too short to spend
missing out on all the fun....
Cast aside your misery,
You know that she is the one.
