MAUSIE MAN IN THE MOON

Even when we are far apart,
I can gaze at the moon and see
that I am sitting at your side,
and you're right here by me.

We make our very quiet wish...
Sighing soflty in the moonlight's glow
you and me and the man in the moon
are the only ones who know.

And on the day that wish comes true,
(Dear Lord, I hope it's soon!),
We will sit snuggled and holding hands,
And smile at that man in the moon.
