The Beginning of Goodbye

Think of all the great times we had
Hugging, laughing,
talking, crying....
And never look back in regret.

Not every day had its shining moment,
but we were always grateful anyway.
Gather the joyful memories around you,
and inhale them as if they were yesterday.

Begin the goodbyes,
cradling them in your heart
one by one.

Know that you are loved.
Know that you will be missed dearly.
And know that the beginning of goodbye
is never the end of hello.
