Just Wondering

Just Wondering

A little tongue in cheek, a lot of words that speak.

Just Wondering

i wonder if the flowers ever wish that they were trees,
and if trust means more in love than does monogamy?
How do bees know which one their mother is,
and while your love is gone, can you lust the one you're with?

Do we blink when we are sound alseep,
and does god really hear when we pray our souls to keep?
How does a cat know when it has finished its bath,
and how close is pure love to the feeling of pure wrath?

Does the sunrise in China look the same as it does in Maine,
and why is one man's pleasure so often another man's pain?
How do the rivers know which way to flow,
and why, when we're sad, does time go by so slow?

What do eagles think about while soaring on the breeze,
and has your heart ever been filled with a desire just to please?
How many days until a mountain forms from the very smallest of hills,
and how many years of living alone until you lose your will?

Why is it that champagne causes a tickle in the nose,
and did you ever hear your mother cry as she watched her babies grow?
How does a nightengale know just which song to sing....
If you know, do tell me please, because I was just wondering.
