Being Repaired

Being Repaired

A Poem by Alisha Heistand

You.
You who made the trouble, the heartache
You who made the darkness and let it consume me
Leave.
Don't drag me back into your false admiration
I know what you wanted, what you desired
Go, find it someplace else.

And as for you, Blue Eyes
You make me feel special again.
My empty chest feels weighted
But that can't be, there's nothing there. Nothing's left after what he did...
Yet when I look within, what's this I see?
Could it be? It is the broken pieces of the heart that belongs to me
How...how have you done this?
What's this pulling I feel...
My heart it's.......
Mending.
Now when I talk to you, breath leaves me
And light consumes you as it shines on me
Cold becomes warm
Dark becomes light
I am being repaired...

But am I even sure?
Yes.

I'm coming alive again
One bit at a time

Fabulous job! I really liked this; it greatly shows how you're overcoming your struggles that you've face for a while. And ooooooo "Blue Eyes"? I WONDER who that could be? ;D haha
You and him are so cute together haha
