Blue EyesA Poem by Alisha HeistandBlue Eyes You stare at me Stunning depths of beauty hold so much love So much happiness So much pain So much more
Blue Eyes You've reawakened me Eased away the numbness from the pain of Him I never thought I'd say this But I'm so drawn to those blue eyes Wanting to know more Wanting to see the world through your eyes
Is it crystal clear? Is it beautiful?
Surely it's better than this desolate lonely place The place I hide away in My safety
Walls are crumbling Walls built up to be my guard How are you doing this? How can you tear down the walls With one look from those Blue Eyes?
Blue Eyes I don't know what you're doing You've got some kind of power You keep drawing me in
When will I see your blue eyes again? © 2013 Alisha HeistandFeatured Review
