Seeing Myself

I had to write this. If you don't like religious works, then I invite you, just to read and think.

My Lord,

I wish I could see myself through your eyes

To understand why you made me the way I am

I wish I could see the beautiful plan you've created

So that I could follow your path better.

My God,

How I pray to you.

If I could see myself the way you do

I could understand you

How I love and cherish everything you've done for me

Even though I don't act like it sometimes.

My Savior,

You are the life.

You made my life the way it is for a reason

Sometimes I don't understand why

But I'm trying my best to follow you

And maybe in time,

I can see myself

Through your loving eyes.

This is a thoughtful peice that, I think, deserves attention. I appreciate its simplicity...it's easy to understand. It is very true and universal...everyone struggles to understand God. You could read this to someone across the ocean and they would be able to understand. Why it hasn't gotten a review yet, I don't know - but I am proud to be first.
