Don't WorryA Poem by Alisha Heistand
Don't worry if I'm crying
In the end I'll be alright Don't worry if I'm angry It's just that I'm in a fight Fighting for my family, my friends, my heart Because I don't want my world to fall apart Don't worry if I don't speak, I need to find my voice Whether I do or not, it's my choice Don't worry about my facial expression, look into my eyes That's where the truth of the matter lies Don't worry about my strength, I don't just fight for myself I fight for you, for everyone else Don't worry if I'm threatened, because I've almost been killed And even then, my heart would not be stilled The people in my life mean everything to me It's all right here, how can one not see Don't worry if you have a nightmare, or just a bad dream Because not everything is as it seems So when the world is rushing and you're in a hurry Just remember my words-don't worry © 2013 Alisha HeistandFeatured Review
