My Moon

My Moon

A Poem by Malik
"

Claire: Part 2

"
My lady is my waning moon.
The love is full in the past...
She shall, I know it, leave me soon,
Doom is in my hourglass!
Dance and rejoice in her light...
Silky, shimmering, and sending me to my knees!
Now my heart has broken from flight,
And manifested into a feast for flees.
"Vengeance will be mine," I cry,
The humanity will take control;
I say, "Angels nor demons sigh,
I will just trade it for my soul!"
The night is coming to close and soon my moon will fade;
Still! My heart calls for Claire so that they may both lay slayed.
