A Poem by Mala Mukherjee
"

finding love

"

I scribbled a few un-synced lines.

Suffocated by the thoughts of

A stubborn ego that mercilessly

Reigned the hapless pages.

A my unsatisfied pen drooped.

Writer’s blockage they called it.

Eyes closed I sat back ,reflecting

In the comfort of a reassuring solitude.

Seeping the warmth of a wasted coffee.

As the lazy wind chime hummed on.

Some hazy images transpired

As I seamlessly tried to

Sketch those entwined reverie .

Lost  in a maze of an unsolved puzzle

All I tried was finding you
