They say I'm an Earth Girl(bein' naturally me)A Poem by malaikamaleleThe life of an 'au natural'
They call me "earth girl"
can't figure out why maybe cause of my penchant for earrings, brown tones and tye dye I be keepin' it natural not at all complicated but a slight bit logical from my chemical-free hair sticking out in all directions to my tendencies to stay away from doctor medications I'd rather grow it read a book and get to know it Just chill and dream and think of days gone by of how music was REAL music and cars were super fly 1970 Pontiac GTO or same year black Ford Gran Torino I be like whoa you know Earth girl, hippie, rasta girl and such just love bein' care free and not bein' in a rush Or maybe it's my tattoos of the red, black and green, some Biblical and adinkra symbols know what I mean? Guys be fallin' in love sayin' "Earth Girl" where you been? Wanna vibe with you more than just every now and then wearin' my bohemian dresses headwrappin' my natty dread tresses lookin' to the most high who mos def blesses They say I'm an Earth girl cause I don't indulge life's stresses Just an analog girl in a digital world got no time for life's messes.
