Prayer

Prayer

A Poem by mala

Dear God,
I am sorry for the lies,
I am sorry for my mind,
I am sorry for my size,
I am sorry for my fights.
Dear Lord,
I am losing a battle,
I am losing inner peace,
I am losing faith in the world- but not in you.
I am losing hope, patience, zest for life.
I am really tired Lord, but I'm still breathing- forgive me.
Mother Mary,
If I pray to you,
Could you possibly help me through?
Sometimes I wish I weren't here,
In my heart I feel you near,
It's kinda why I persevere with it all.
