EnoughA Poem by malaI have met many different, Perhaps with one thing in common? I am not sure what that is. One day I'll get there.
I am not good enough,
I am not well enough, I have had chances, I have given chances, I have experienced great things, I have experienced bad things, I have poured myself into you, You have poured yourself into me. You lasted a week, I will last a life time. I see you are no longer driven, I am no longer mentally involved, That kiss means as much to me now as it what it meant from you at the start- insignificant. They're 40 or they're 19 or they're 25, There is no longer a difference, The mind wants what the body doesn't. Stop saying I'm fun, my personality is all I have, Don't take that away from me, Please tell me from the very beginning what I don't want to hear, I believe you too easily. If technology never existed I'd make sure you all never hear from me again. Self-control issues, I need to stop searching through the crowd- Your face is something I'll never see. Need to turn these lights in my head out.
