Gentleman Death

Gentleman Death

A Poem by maktub
"

Etheree - and a new take on death...read and see :-D

"

Fog
swirling
with tendrils
black and flying
round his fading face;
splayed moonbeams framing
orbs slit across countenance
of arraying hues, charcoal shades.
He is no guest of the common sort,
-silk suit, collar up, comes silent and classy-

Waiting your whole life, to stand at your side.
Never arrives by the hands of time;
night still will fall, and the dawn rise -
suitor waltzing both away,
draping eyes in darkness
that brings distant light...
tipping his hat
-breathtaking-
you meet
Death.

About
Things happen for a reason, and regardless of what that reason is, those things are not always good, but nor are they always bad...and oftentimes the unanswered prayers are the greatest blessings, and.. more..
