Dawning Garden

Dawning Garden

A Poem by maktub
"

Comparing the dawn/sunrise to flowers blooming.

"

I gaze across horizon's blooming ridge -
tulip, rose rays from sunflower sun;
mind wandering to night before
when bloom slept, still unopened,
and darkness then withdrew
-heavens growing bright-
stems pushing through
the soil of
fertile
night.
Stars,
diamonds,
seeds stirring -
planted that sun
may open its eyes;
rising, painting blue fields
- that infinite expanse skies -
with hues streaming, brightly vibrant.
A bouquet - fragile petals bloss'ming
where once lay silent the rich earth of night.

About
Things happen for a reason, and regardless of what that reason is, those things are not always good, but nor are they always bad...and oftentimes the unanswered prayers are the greatest blessings, and.. more..
