Dawning Day

Dawning Day

A Poem by maktub

Dawning day outspread,
pours the sun's soul -
awakening the sleeping
from their warm beds.

Greet this beginning
- chance at starting anew -
with infectious joy -
purging the old's untruth.

Yesterday is gone;
deceptive as it was,
do not fear this -
only truth is infinite.

Morning renewed again -
she cries dew tears;
horizon's bright eye
my dawning day celebrates.

Things happen for a reason, and regardless of what that reason is, those things are not always good, but nor are they always bad...and oftentimes the unanswered prayers are the greatest blessings, and.. more..
