Rain

Rain

A Poem by maktub
"

Tried my hand at Ghazal.

"

Forest of liquid fell faintly - from expanse - named droplets;
eternally hanging upon the air those suspending droplets.

Desert sands absorbed tears streaming down her countenance;
puddles formed from the clouds - crystal, hanging droplets.

Oceans ripple at rushing storm streaking seamless waters,
fed from above with shattering salt of impending droplets.

Baptising beauty cleansing, seeping into your shell;
skin awaiting the deep moisture of dangling droplets.

Maktub to stroll, descend Heaven's flowing, fluid stairway,
she knows the power wielded by washing droplets.

About
Things happen for a reason, and regardless of what that reason is, those things are not always good, but nor are they always bad...and oftentimes the unanswered prayers are the greatest blessings, and.. more..
