Life = Deceptive.

Life is laced with frills seeming free,
invitingly luring us to live with glee -
until, to our dismayed chagrin, we see
that life smiling so pure and pleasantly
- for yourself and I - is an evil conspiracy
of eating its spinning dust for eternity.
