Mental Dentistry

A Poem by maktub
"

Fake. All fake. Time to fix it.

"

Fake smiles are frigid and frozen;
they are solid ice, a block unmelting and sullen.
Plastered, eternally painted across your face;
they are the mask, the closed doors keeping you safe.
Run, run, hide behind your perfect image;
those pearly, sparkling, lined up whites that everyone mimics.
We never know what reality lies behind those statues;
because no one will break the fakeness they are so accustomed to.

About
Things happen for a reason, and regardless of what that reason is, those things are not always good, but nor are they always bad...and oftentimes the unanswered prayers are the greatest blessings, and.. more..
