Man??A Poem by Eric Makia poem about how a real man should be.
Man???
How can you call yourself a man? You abuse your woman By mentally bashing her, Physically beating her, Leaving her battered, bruised Bloody, and in tears. How can you call yourself a man? When you never take responsibility for your actions: Lying and indicting others, Denying that you had wronged her in any way, Letting some one else be charged with the blame For what you did. How can you call yourself a man? You don't take care of your child, You created new life From your own flesh and blood, Brought into this world, Abandoning both Mother and Child Vanishing so you don't have to pay child support. How can you call yourself a man? You raise your hand to strike a child, Beating and belittling the adolescent soul and, It doesn't matter if the child is yours or not, You still inflict pain and anguish By making them pay With your fiery aggression. How can you call yourself a man? How can you do such hateful things? Does it make you feel superior? Boost your ego? Does it make you feel good? Why you do those things, I'll never understand. I do know this, Being born with a penis, Does not make you a man. A real man emits love, Kindness, tenderness, love and respect, Treats women like Goddesses, Never causes them pain or anguish. A real man accepts responsibility, Whether it be good, bad, Right or wrong, He confesses his actions and Accepts the punishment. A real man loves children, Whether it be his own flesh and blood, Or the angel of his goddess, He'll protect them with his life, Teach them right from wrong Loving them till his dying day. A real man is charitable, Give's and helps out when ever possible, Never asking for anything in return, Just knowing he helped, Is payment and reward enough. Eric M.
