Fond MemoriesA Poem by Eric Makia poem i wrote in memory of my grandfather that passed awayBig strong hands, holding me Holding me steady, making sure I dont fall
Sitting on those broad shoulders seeing over the crowd Watching floats of the passing parade
Being held in his arms sitting on his lap rocking in our favorite chair watching television
Being told to set out cookies and beer getting told that even santa like's a nice good beer
Looking back as the years pass by Remembering all the stories and all life's lessons he taught me
You were more then my friend more then a gaurdian even tho you're my grandfather you treated me like a son © 2011 Eric MakiAuthor's Note
