Unfinished

Unfinished

A Poem by Courey

I have lain in the tall grass in the sun

With warmth of love within me, drunk

With dreams and promise, as if the

Star itself drew the smile

Upon my face.

I have slipped contentedly into slumber

Into visions of ever languid kisses while

Dragonflies land on my eyelids,

Their wings glistening in

Iridescent grace.
