Obviously if the person doesn't see how awesome you are, they aren't worth your time. Quite evidently it's difficult to just let it go, but I think that that currently sounds like the best idea. If this person causes so much pain, they're definitely not worth it.
You did a good job potraying emotions. Way to get it down on paper. ;D
