Chapter One

Chapter One

A Poem by Rae

Her face covered up her bed sheet thoughts.
To have her. To have her back. To have her there.
To have her voice inside those bed sheet thoughts,
in between her toes and the
planets and spatial interactions.
To once again feel.
To understand that to feel means
to feel her own heart.
To understand that to have her means
that she must have herself.
To gaze through a telescope and to see,
to see her galaxy hundreds of miles
down the Black hole city,
fire legs,
toes searching,
eyes seeking,
ears hearing my ode to the bed sheet thoughts.
And to have her means
To find home in a stretched out
planet,
to find her on this planet,
and to love her on such a planet.
