YOU LAUGHED AT ME
You laughed at me, the whole time you were laughing at me You thought you were better than me that's why you laughed isn't it? You made my pain, my hurt, your footstool You crossed your legs, no spread them and prepared to receive ill-gotten gains You conceived, hatched plans to take over and replace You savored your little successes in the dark But in the end, that's the only place you can be kept, in the dark isn't it? In the dark, it is easy to let imagination run wild Fantasies are spun, there is no limitation to where the mind can go there is no physical gate, so name it, you can imagine and have it think on it long enough and you start to believe it you convince yourself that all the plans made in the dark might make it to light one day and possibly come true you set yourself up for the biggest mistake yet, There aren't many things hidden that enjoy the freedom they hope, there is a reason they are hidden in the first place, not worthy of first place Who's laughing now? © 2013 MAH MEKOLLE |
