Childhood

Childhood

A Poem by Mahesh Mehta
"

A glimpse of traveling back into the naïve world of innocence - Childhood, where the most complex and digested terms of life such as stress, anxiety, jealousy, pessimism can be hardly heard

"

Triggered by gloominess of life was I glancing out of the window

to focus on a place where I could inhume my sorrow

that glimpse of a cheerful child came to my eyes

fading all the ponderous despair taking me back to those times

where I lived like a bird with wings of angelic vibes

where the boat of paper seemed heavier than the puddle water

as my eyes seemed gazing it, till it soaked with time
