How Could We Have Known ?

How Could We Have Known ?

A Poem by Robbie
"

A poem of a friend who has passed away

"

Thinking back to the last time we saw you,

we walked away without a backward glance.

How could we have known that moment would be the last.

The last time we would hear that deep, strong laugh.

The picture slides of our lives go by so fast

The moments of our lives we hold dear.

The memories we will hold close of our friend

Your body is gone, but your spirit remains near.

Now I borrow some quotes of my favorite writers....

                    Force of Nature

                    Big as Life

                    One of a Kind

As Solid As The Ground We Stand On

                    Down To Earth

As Rare As Walking On Water

They help me in my loss of words, to describe an extroinary man

Loving husband , devoted father, proudest grandpa I ever knew

Time we cannot borrow

My heart reaches out to all of you

Sharing in your sorrow.

God Bless You, My Dear Friend
