The Other Worlds

The Other Worlds

A Poem by Chad Casares
"

Lyrics for the song "The Other Worlds", appearing on the soon-to-be-released album "The Color of Memory".

"

To them, what you see's what you get
They don't realize
Beyond the senses
Beyond the eyes

Well everything that you've seen
Everything that you've known
Will never compare
To where I've been and what lies out there

Endless ethereal atmosphere
Clairvoyant
The future far and near

They find the third eye, bleed it try
And we watch the gods cry.
The soul amends, but they condescend
And let their vision die

To them, everything is a lie

There's no depth inside
The senses weaken

The center dies

Well everything that you've seen
Everything that you've known

Will never compare
To where I've been and what lies out there

They find the third eye, bleed it try
And we watch the gods cry.
The soul amends, but they condescend
And let their vision die.

They had vision, clairvoyant vision
Otherworldly vision, we have vision.

They had senses, clairvoyant senses
Otherworldly senses, we have senses.

They had minds, clairvoyant minds
Otherworldly minds, we have minds.

They had love, clairvoyant love
Otherworldly love, we have love.

I know what's the next album I'm buying. This was really good and even without the music I can already pick up what it sounds like, which is very hard to do with just lyrics. This was really amazing.

I don't write often if you don't count lyrics, which I write tons of. I think by reading what I do write, lyrics or not, you'll get a feel of what I'm about. more..
