i'm one step ahead of you

because i'm playing the game too

and i will learn to play it better

my heart has being brusied and broken

thrown on the floor and beaten

so please understand when i say

i keep it under lock and key

it cannot be touched 

it may make me cold hearted

and my feeling's i shall never speak

you will see what you mean to me

because i'm done chasing people

i just get left behind

i see the hurt, it's in your eyes

it's the type someone can only see

if they have felt the same pain to

and i don't say it

just to be polite

all the lonliness, anger, grief, saddness 

iv'e been there before

so believe me when i say

drowning your sorrows does nothing

as iv'e seen what it does before

but don't get confused

and think i'm just harsh

the smile last hours

and the electricity flies through me

i can see it in your eyes
