angel

angel

A Poem by magicwhisper

Her  feet don’t seem connected to her body,

as she walks towards the edge

The wind whips her hair across her face

As she slowly looks down and sees peace and tranquillity.

A place with no worries and no pain.

A place were she can be free.

She edges closer to the edge,

But then she hears sobbing,

And she pulled her hair out of her face and looked behind her,

And she saw a angel crying.

She felt distraught that she could leave this angel cry,

She cared for and loved this angel

She couldn’t leave this angel

To cope on the earth on her own

Then slowly walked away from the cliff edge

And followed the angel back into the darkness she knew

Because she knew this angel was her saviour

The angel was her sister
