The Girl Who Cried MiseryA Poem by And She SingsI actually wrote this a while back. I was randomly inspired and typed it up on my Ipod originally. Enjoy :)
She's a broken heart.
More like a broken record. She calls for help, But she's just the girl who cried "misery" in a world she never wanted. Then, she finds a spark, What could be the light at the end of her tunnel. She breaks into a sprint to find her savior. Open arms greet her as the journey she has suffered proves to be worth while. She grows to trust these arms. They're love never faltering. They're warmth undying. She can be free from the box that darkness has trapped her in for so long. The arms continue in showering the humble girl with affection. She can't help but wonder if they could hers forever. She keeps her thoughts to herself, having seen how the foolish die young. They rack her mind to the point that she can't think about anything but her light. The light she has waited her life for. The light that helped her escape the cold chair that she has been chained to for all this time. She falls. She breaks. The light disappears so suddenly. The last chair she sees is the one she kicks out from under her feet. © 2012 And She SingsAuthor's Note
