The Letter

The Letter

A Poem by maestro
"

I wanted to write about love in an old fashioned style....modern love has become so "cliche" that it's not worth writing about.

"

My Dear

My fondest memory

It is you

that I think of often

And I never forget

That you're always near

somehow, someplace

We always end up, taking the race

We laugh till we cry

We cry till we laugh

It's moments like this

that I hold in my heart forever

My love

my sweetest ebony

It is you

that I dream of often

And I always remember

That you loved me so

Our bodies were always apart

And yet, we kept hope alive

It's moments like that

I will cherish forever

My darling

My never ending

I have written this for you

and when the time is right

I know you'll come through

I'm here for you always

As you have been for me

Remember, just one thing for me

It's moments like you

I will hold and cherish

With love in my arms, your's truly
