Ending Me

Ending Me

A Poem by Michael Wright
"

What comes in the end?

"

Ending Me

I am nothing but an old man

the days traveled and time lost

I expended all that love for lust

as for now I am bankrupt

Insanity should have long come

hate and fear kill the soul

eaten alive from within

hollow from negative souls

spirits running a muck

lost with no light to guide

The end is near I fear

Never for myself just ones I loved

Once gone, hope will come

Today will plants the seeds

to feel bankrupt, to feel dead inside....it is often much worse than physical death...
when the spirit, the emotions no longer want to go on.
