Souls Sleeping NakedA Poem by Michael WrightThe hour has grown late; Cannot halt churning of the mind Wishing to slumber with her, tempting for that last opus. Fully cloaked with linen; naked deep into the night. Souls exposed bearing the light; love, hope, and faith cleansing. Dreams they keenly shared, thoughts told and exposed. Shredding their fears wantonly, all while hope is abound. Intertwining their thoughts, while arms and limbs embrace. Seeking only genuine and axenic, casting out the filth and untruth. Awake the mind full of the day, Sleep bringing peace of anew. © 2020 Michael WrightFeatured Review
